Due to heavy rains, the hillside and roadway along Aborn Road experienced significant movement and instability. The City of San Jose contracted Redgwick to perform hillside stabilization and road reconstruction. Redgwick excavated the affected area and drilled 30-foot-deep holes to install soldier piles with timber lagging for slope stabilization. Once the hillside was secured, Redgwick reconstructed the roadway, restoring full functionality and ensuring long-term slope stability.
